Unfinished Business

I finally started to work on finishing my quilt. The first one I ever started (and never completed). What got me moving to finally finish it? I bought myself an even feed foot for my sewing machine. Yay! So, you can see in the image below that I'm working in my kitchen and had just ironed the binding strips.

After quilting the layers together, you can see here I just finished squaring up my piece , again. The back of the quilt is a one fabric/pattern.

This shows the green binding after I completed my first mitered corner.

Voila, the finished piece. I decided to hand sew (blind stitch) the binding onto the back instead of machine stitch. I'm so glad it's over. Now, I can start new projects without the guilt.
